Chris and I took the girls to New Pal's skating party with the Hurst Gang. Let's say it was an interesting night. Ash was horrible!!! She didn't like having skates on, but wanted to walk on the skating floor. She almost got ran over multiple times and when we wouldn't let her go she screamed like we were ripping off her extremities. Ave had a good time. She gets better and better each time we go. And it is always fun to chat with Melissa, we always have so much to talk about. Next outing tonight at Incredible Pizza :)

Getting Stuck in the Snow!!!

The snow had drifted all the way to the top of the gate Tractor trying to dig the car in front of me out The tractor trying to dig me out, no such luck.

On my way home from work Sat morning everything was going great until I reached Hancock Co. The roads were great everywhere else, but 2 miles from my house. I was driving along and all of a sudden the snow was like 2.5 feet deep. Let's just say my car came to a complete stop. So I called Chris and told him I was stuck. Not that he could rescue me in his very little car, so he called his dad that lives about 10 min. down the road. In the meantime, a very nice man in a truck attempted to help me out and accidentally pulled me into a ditch about 6 inches from a telephone pole. So there I stayed for about 3 hours. Chris's dad finally got to me around 1130 that morning. I had to leave my car there until they plowed the roads because it was just too deep to pull it out. And to top it all off my phone died while I was sitting there. I had been up for about 28 hours by the time I got home and had to go back to work that night. I was exhausted!!! I guess things could have been worse. I am so grateful to everyone who tried to help me, especially my father-in-law. It makes you realize there are still some very generous people left in our world.

Playing in the Snow

I worked this weekend so Chris had Ashley all to himself during the day. They decided to play in the snow. Ash wasn't quite sure what to think.

Averi and her sister Edin Rylee, Ave, Ash, and E (Rylee and Edin are sisters, Ave and Edin are sisters, and Ave and Ash are sisters) Confusing, huh? We always have a blast hanging out with the Hurst's. Next scheduled event is skating on Thurs. Ash has never been on skates, it could be very interesting.
