Christmas 2008

What a great Christmas.....We are all so blessed. The girls got more things than they know what to do with. It was a very hectic day, but very enjoyable.

Christmas Eve

Every year we go to my dad's on Christmas Eve. Our family is getting sooo big! I have four step-brothers, a step-sister, a biological brother, and each of us have significant others except one and there are also four kiddos. The house was busting at the seams!! Regardless of how much room we have, we all seem to have a great time. Averi wasn't able to come on Christmas Eve so she got to open her presents early on the weekend before Christmas.

Pacifier thief

Allie loves to steal Ashley's pacifier. She very gently takes it right out of her mouth and begins biting away. It is hilarious!!!

6 month check-up

We went to see Dr. Mazurek for Ashley's check-up. She weighed 18 lbs and 15 oz. She is growing so fast.

This is the newest member of our family, Allie! Chris has been wanting a big dog for some time. We began searching for dogs online. We found Allie at a shelter in TN. Chris drove 5 hours last Sunday to pick her up. Allie got carsick the whole way home! :) The shelter thinks she is approximately 8 weeks old and 3o lbs. They said her breed was a Newfoundland Mix. Chris and I think maybe mixed with a lab. By the looks of her feet she is going to be a big girl. Chloe isn't so sure of her. She is very jealous, but each day they seem to play a little more. We definitely have our hands full. I am already tired of cleaning up messes off the floor!!! But we have to remember she is just a puppy (hard to do when she looks full grown). We all love her to death. She is such a big lovable puppy.

Family night

Chris, Ave, Ashley and our nephew Austin went to a new place by our house called Snapperz. It had all kinds of cool things to do. Averi played on the bungie tramp. Austin did the rock climbing wall and we all went cosmic bowling, well except Ash. They had games like at Chuck E Cheese and an inflatable obstacle course and slides to play on. The kids had a lot of fun.

The Sunday before Thanksgiving we met my dad and his family for dinner at Jonathan Byrds. Our family is growing so fast we are running out of room at my Dad and step-mom's house so we decieded to try something new. I have four step-brothers and one step sister and my biological brother. Almost all of us have significant others. It adds up quick. Doing Thanksgiving there gave us a lot more room to hang out and for the kids to play.

Getting so big!!!

Ashley is growing so fast. She is now eating baby food and loves it. She also loves playing in her exersaucer toy. She is so fascinated by all the little sounds it makes. I can't believe she is 5 months old!!

How sweet........

I woke up this morning about 0700 to make Ash a bottle. I came back upstairs and she was laying in bed with daddy. I couldn't resist taking a picture. How cute!!! Daddy sure loves his little girl.

Trick or Treat

Since we weren't allowed to go trick or treating with Averi this year, Me, Chris, Ashley, and Chloe all stayed home and passed out lots of candy. It was so fun getting to see the little kiddos all dressed up. Ashley fell asleep 15 minutes after it all started. Then Chloe decided to join her. It was a fun night. I can't wait until next year when Ashley can walk and we have Ave.

Ashley's 4 month check up

We went to see Dr. Mazurek for Ashley's 4 month check up. Ashley weighed in at 17.1 lbs and measured 26.25 inches long. She barely stayed on the charts mapping out in the 97th percentile!!! She is getting so big. Such a chunky monkey!!!
